In 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 4a head and neck cancer. Treatment has left me with severe neck spasms preventing me from doing what I love, cutting hair full-time. I knew that i could never truly walk away from the chair so I started Barbericon to give the barber and beauty industry a platform to show off more than just their skills. But to show how they are impacting their community. Barbers and beauticians have long since been a source of relaxation for centuries. Now is the time to celebrate those that go beyond the chair.
